Tonight with Omid is a weekly late night comedy entertainment chat show that embraces Omid’s heritage as a British Iranian, along with the diversity of the guests that appear on the show with him.
Everything from the house band, to the show’s eccentric comedy sketches, rif on the richness of Middle Eastern culture, art and people and is complimented by the heritage of the guest each week.
Each show is recorded twice – one version in English and one version in Farsi. The studio interviews will explore each guests history in comedy and how their heritage has fed into their act. As well as a studio interview, Omid will get out and about with his guests continuing the interview in random locations which
then morph into comedy sketches.
Tonight with Omid is the ultimate mash up of late night talk shows mixed with energetic ‘Comedian’s in Cars getting Coffee’ location VTs, all wrapped up in a celebration of diverse comedy culture.
